Dr. Wolgin’s website and practice at Orthopaedic Associates!
This website, which focuses on spinal disorders, helps to outline normal and abnormal states of the spine, and review non-surgical and surgical treatment options.
I do my best to treat patients as I would want to be treated, starting with non-operative treatments, and when needed, offering surgical care. If your problem is not within my area of expertise, I will do my best to find the appropriate place for you to get the best care available.
Where appropriate, I also have a focus on minimally invasive techniques where spine surgery is done through small tubular retractors, without big incisions.
Treatment Options Available:
We have a focus on non-operative care with Dr. Tsymbalov, with an emphasis on strengthening body core and postural muscles. Where indicated, injections will be offered. Other physical therapy pain relief modalities are available.
Epidural injections, facet blocks, selective nerve root blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and discography.
Surgery (Minimally Invasive Techniques):
Where appropriate, minimally invasive techniques which include less soft tissue trauma can be applied. In more severe cases, often an open approach is required, and the spine can be approached from the back (posterior), front (anterior), or side (lateral) aspect.
Surgery (Non-Fusion Techinques):
Cervical and lumbar disc replacement.
